Default Coil spring Spacers & Isolators

When adding spacers do you retain the isolators with the spacers or discard them, or does it matter? I"ve seen pics and read info showing both ways so I'm not sure.

retain them, some people even add an additional isolator for a bit more lift.

Have to go with everyone else and say keep them. OME does a 3" lift with springs and a spacer, I kept the isolaters and have a tad over the 3" lift because of them. No ride hassles either.

Well, the isolators help with the ride too. The spacers are usually made of a harder poly material and the rubber isolator keeps that factory cushion. And i imagine they might help the spacers last a bit longer. Be sure to keep those spacers lubricated, after a few years of being dry they can crack and well, fall out.

Great info. One other question, keep the isolators next to the body and above the spacers? I have the OME 2.5" lift and am going to the OME Trailblazer lift which is 4.5-5" from what I understand. Setting it up for 32's.
