I definately have to say that the H4 upgrade was one of the best upgrades I've done.. I picked up the LMC harness myself... due to lack of time to build my own harness... now I wish I had, cause I can't use the high beams on my setup, if I do when I go back to the low beams, I have high and low beams on at the same time.... then again don't really need brights too much due to how bright my low beams are... Which wattage bulbs di you go with for your upgrade??

The bulbs I got with the head light conversion lens are 60/55 watts.
After I get them set up i will see about higher wattage bulbs or different blubs.

I had great luck with the Putco harness, and no issues with the '99. Relays do look a little cheap, but I will rebuild/upgrade as needed.

The IPF housing and 80/110 watt bulbs are great. I still think they should be brighter than they are, but I don't think "I hate these dim Jeep lights!" any more.

BTW, I did find that the LMC GM truck harness (40 shipped) and the Silverstar lights are so close in brightness to the IPF's well if I had it to do over again, well 80 > 160!!!!

Well my jeep just might make me go crazy.

I got it back together last night! the valves were a real learning experience to say the least.

The last person to change the oil put both the filter and drain plug WAY to tight.

after I got it all back together when to try and start it .... no luck not getting any spark. after looking through the pics that were taken while taking it apart I might have found the problem but we will see.

    Progress has been made!

I finally got to do some work on the jeep! for the last week or so she has been running 100 to 120. so way under normal temp without side air temp running around -10 to 10 the need for heat is very much on my mind.

I tried the easy stuff first add coolant and burped the system as much as I could still no heat.

my last hope was that in was some simple like a stuck t-stat. therefore friday I stopped by the stealership to pick up an OEM t-stat (should have changed it when I did the head) then to o'reillys to pick up some coolant. then life got busy again.

Fast forward to today I had planned just to do my head light upgrade but i had my minion along and all the the change the t-stat and give it a good flush and what did we find? A stuck t-stat! Well enough of my rambling here are some pics. Posted in no real order.
