the Borg Warner number is a WT430
here is a pic of it

and here is apic of it when you break it

does anyone have any other part numbers I could cross reference for this thing? I need to buy it like NOW!

According to the 91 - 93 parts book I have .... this ought to give you something to cross reference ??

    5602 6710 1 XJ,MJ SWITCH, Coolant Temp., w/Warning Lamp, 1992-93, Also Diesel

    J323 0408 1 MJ,XJ 1991

    5300 5309 XJ,MJ w/Gauge, 1991 - 1 SENDING UNIT, Temperature Gauge

    5602 7012 1 1992-93, All Engine (Insul. 56006431)

Tis more commonly referred to as a "sender" ... than a "sensor"
I hate watching simplicity and reliability being ruined by bureaucracy and technology.

The autoparts stores call it a temperature switch. Dont know why. The duralast part# (autozone) is TU236
