    Default Taking the purdy Jeep to the beach.

    Well one week from now im gonna be heading down to North Padre Island for a well needed vacation. Its about a 260 mile drive one way, and im gonna drive the XJ And UNLIKE patrick I will post pics of the trip. Not gonna take any extra parts just a load of tools. There is a national park down there (PINS) which is 65 miles of beach front with nothing or nobody around. Should be some good pics, be warned though, its clothing optional down there

    To my surprise the jeep made the trip down here. Had no problems at all. Even averaged 18.5 mpg and it was packed full. No good pics yet. Just one showing the view from the condo

    Nice shot. That thing is an indestructable beast, I've seen you wheel it and yet it still survives a road trip! Looks like rain coming in the pic, I love going to the beach in the rain. Enjoy!!
