    Support 97 Cherokee Gauge Cluster

Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum and have a question. I have a 97 Cherokee SE. It has the idiot lights(hated by everyone I might add). It's difficult to find a gauge cluster from a sport and up of my year and up Cherokee. However I noticed that a gauge cluster from a 97+ wrangled looks to be identical. My question is are the wrangler gauge clusters compatible with my year XJ. Thanks in advance for any help.

I hope they are compatible ... coz one of my spares is out of a TJ ...

There is some display differences due to the different transfer cases used in the XJ / TJ models.

Im guessing some time will need to be spent looking over TJ and XJ wiring diagrams ... to ensure the electrical connection points match up.
I hate watching simplicity and reliability being ruined by bureaucracy and technology.

Just compare the printed circuit on the back of each. If the copper strip goes to the same gauges, then it should be a go
