    Default Under Steering Wheel Wiring

I have a 1996 XJ and i am trying to find out what these wires are for and if they are stock. Here are the wires in question. As you see the one with screws has two toggle swithces that are broken and a brown and black wire leads to the one with electric tape.

As you can see the wires are under the steering wheel

Here is the blue one again, so you can see where the broken toggle switches were.

Ok so I tried to follow the one with the toggle switches to see where it leads so I can figure out what it is. It goes around the steering wheel to a gray box and that is where I lost it.

This is a Close Up of the one with toggle switches.

I forgot to mention the toggle switches had a wire running to the other plug. One of them had two brown wires and the other had two black wires.

Toggle switches don't look stock. Do you have cruise control? That whitish plug sort of looks like the cruise control plug to me

No I don’t have Cruise Control, but maybe that is why it isn’t connected to anything. Also I am not sure but the one with toggle switches could that be the OBD plug?
