I'd say start out with the front, but there are a LOT of people who would argue with me on that.

rear first then front. If you put the first locker in the front, you have to be in 4wd to get to use it. I go lots of places that I can just motor in 2wd for quite a while before having to go 4wd. just the way I think.

I'm in favor of Detroit lockers. But I haven't experienced anything else. When I switch my 8.25 for a Ford 9 inch. I'll probably go with a selectable.

I have been looking at the ox locker you can lock and unlock as you need it and
if you have to on the trail it can be lock and unlocked by hand. The ele.locker and the air lockers I don't think you can.

There are advantages and disadvantages to all of them. The OX has a cable that can be difficult to route and deal with along with getting it caught on stuff. They have an electric add on to eliminate the cable. The ARB has air lines to deal with as well as having an air source. The least disadvantage comes from the Eaton which is electric. All of them have the ability to engage and disengage whenever wanted.

Id go lokka or lockright in the front. I had a Spartan and it blew up, so I put a lokka brand in. It was so much smoother from the start. Air leakers are just that.
