That is an excellent idea man.
Too bad I want my a/c controls and head unit.
But now that I think of it if its possible you can remove the vent right under the radio and put it there.

Make sure you have 3.5 gallons of coolant mixture otherwise it will overheat no matter what cooling system you have.

With 3.5 gallons you will not need or have burping issues.

Just 2004 or other years too? Thats not gonna be in no Junk Yard in L.A.

What year should I look for?

Best way to burp the system is to remove the CTS (coolant temp sensor).
Do not run the Jeep with this off simply burp it and put it back on.

I bought a 3 row all aluminum seal one. It is Champion radiator. I have pictures of it on my other Jeep forum profile.
