    Re: Baofeng UV-5r+

I've been eyeballing one of these for months and I'll probably get one soon. I'd like to hear some experiences on the 82's though before I make a decision. I know $30 isn't much to pay but well.......

Re: Why no aftermarket, beefier drag link?

I've heard rumors that heims are not legal for steering if you use yours for on road driving. Maybe that's just the wonderful state of PA. I'm not 100% sure as I've never really looked into it that...

Re: When good tablets go BAD

Yes, I have the keyboard attached and I use a Bluetooth mouse when at my desk. The keyboard folds over and makes a nice cover when carrying it. I agree that the price is high and not sure I'd buy...

Re: When good tablets go BAD

I've been using a MS Surface for a few months now and it's not bad at all, other than stupid Win 8. Little bit heavier than your normal tablet but I gotta say, it has no problem keeping up with me. ...

Re: Recommend an inexpensive 2m antenna

I thought about cutting one of those stainless whips down. I've got one out in the garage that I've been meaning to hook up to the CB but for the $20 I paid over a year ago, I think I can sacrifice...

Hey guys, I passed my tech test a few months back and I'm looking to buy a mobile unit soon. :bacondance: At the moment I'm eyeing up some of the older Motorola Spectra commercial units since I have...

    Re: CPS sensor

In my experience with any Chrysler vehicle, when it comes to the crank & cam sensors, Chrysler parts are the best. That means paying a little more to get them from the stealership. I hate paying...

Re: Grand Cherokee Seats into a XJ?

Boy, those Sentra seats turned out nice. Sure wish I could have the seats out of my SER Spec V. Those things kept your butt firmly planted right in the middle and had great side bolsters around the...

    Re: Small winch

Honestly I'm a bit suprised at the responses you guys have all given. I 1/2 expected this idea to get shot down in a heartbeat. As carves put it, it would be a traction aid, not a recovery item. ...

    Small winch

So I'm looking at my latest Harbor Freight ad and I see that they have a 5k winch on sale for $150 this month. Now before everyone gets up in arms about the low rating and trusting life to a HF...
  12. Re: Jeep Cherokee XJ front Vertical hoop for stock bumper

I've seen crap like that on mall crawlers. Not sure where to get them though. If I'm gonna put something like that on the front, it needs to be functional.

    Re: Ignition tune up

Haven't tried the E3s yet. I bought the Accell tune up kit when I did mine and it came with their plugs. They work but honestly I think I ran a little smoother with the plain ol Champion truck...

Re: Long Arm System for a Grand Cherokee?

I've heard nothing but rave reviews of Clayton kits. I haven't seen the WJ kit personally but I have seen the ZJ kit on my cousins old rig and it's beef. He was real happy with it.

    Re: Overhead consele

I've seen keys & fobs together in vehicles before. Just keep an eye out for a late model XJ and give it a quick fob check. If they're in the Jeep grab the board out of that one.
