"Midland Radio will provide its proven, category-leading MicroMobile and X-Talker GMRS radios to enhance on-trail navigation and communication, as well as event organization."(Jeep Jamboree)

Nice....
Sounds like a 136amp Grand Cherokee alternator should be on your list of things to do.
Yes sir. For now just running radios but would like to add a fridge at some point.
The radios are all mounted in the back of my Jeep, I run extension cables for the HF radio control head and mic....
This year I would be chaperoning a camp with my middle daughter the first of the week following our camp trip so I left McGee creek and headed up to Sulphur, Ok and the Chickasaw National Rec area as...
Another year... we were at the same place as last year, McGee Creek Res but this year the water was almost up to the camp pad so we were lacking much of the room we had last year.
We made the best...
Looks good Tony,
I noticed that and their $8 a year property tax. I will split it with you but you have to pay half the taxes. :p
That would be a cute little house if it was cleaned up.
The land owners live in Nevada, Texas. Maybe they don't know it's being used as a camp, maybe they don't care. Hit them up next time you head to Dallas...... or maybe not, could ruin it for everyone...
Great pics. Had some friends run into some booby traps on the west end of the K-trail a few years back. I am not sure where the Clayton trail connects but the word is the K-trail is closed basically...
Tony I am surprised you haven't gone to laser lights yet.
I prefer to have the rear a tad higher than the front that way I can put people or gear in the back and not drag ass or as much, but I guess if you don't use your Jeep like that then sitting level is...
I have always had good luck bleeding the brakes (or clutch) myself by putting a hose over the bleeder and run it into a cup with a small amount of brake fluid in the bottom to cover the other end of...
3 XJs.... 3 cracked manifolds.
I would get the correct sensors for the 95.
Since the 95 is OBD1 and the 99 is OBD2 I am not sure how the 99 sensors would affect the 95 computer.
Off Road Designs makes a block they call a Zero Rate. http://offroaddesign.com/catalog/Zero%20Rates.htm
Looks like a small lift block, but they bolt to the leaf pack.
You can move your axle...
Another friends setup for the weekend. Yep, I have at least 2 friends.

Turned this into an annual trip. Had a couple new guys join us this year.
Decided to try a different location this year about an hour further down the road, McGee Creek State Park.
I had hoped that...
Finally got around to installing the steering box brace from Ironman4x4fab.
Apparently there is a rare steering box casting that causes a clearance issue with one of the clamp tabs.

Andy...
U bolts and spring plates from an 82 Chevy 1/2 ton truck are 5/8" and 3" wide. The trucks also use 2.5" wide springs so the spring plates work also and may even be a bit thicker....
I can confirm this issue.
New wheels and tires look killer.
You could benefit from some shackle relocation brackets as well. It would bring the back up another 1.5" too.
That doesn't look like 5" of lift to me, I have 4.5 lift coils on the front of my 93 currently sitting on 30"s and have more clearance between the fender and tire than you do. Also if there was that...
