You can and it is easy, have one on mine! Plus did a full on switch for full cooling when needed.

I believe 10", you can set them to turn on 1,2 or 3, I have it set that the outside 2 turn on to cool and all 3 when the a/c is on. They are fairly quiet a little whiney but nothing to complain about.
