When I went to UTI we spent 2 days learning how to test and rebuild alternators and starters, wish the parts store sold those kits...

on the 99 which I imagine may be the same
1. disconnect battery
2. remove belt
3. maybe remove battery for more room to play
4. remove wires going into alternator
5. remove bolts going into...
