Re: What did you do to your Jeep today?

Right now you have sealed beam headlights. They are the entire bulb. An H4 housing is one that accepts an H4 bulb, which is already brighter than what you have now. The best ones are the Euro...

Re: What did you do to your Jeep today?

Yes, the H$ upgrade is the way to go. You will need to get new housings to do it. I had to enlarge the hole in the housing bucket to do it. Once there there are options. You can go with IPF Fat...

Re: 52" Round LED light Pods

That is true. Turned up my idle a little for that. The taurus fan coming on pulls 90 - 100 amps and did pull the engine down. But all is good now

    Re: New Member

Welcome top the forum. Looks like it had a little fender bender. But probably all our rigs have something like that on them. :D

You are correct Od. Nice looking light box too. Did you get your signal light to blink?

Re: What did you do to your Jeep today?

Yeah, I have found too that older motors don't like synthetic. Leaks out the gaskets

    Re: power window wiring

First thing I would do is get some OxGuard. It is a conductor with some grit in it. Use a tooth pick, not your fingers, to put a little in each hole of the plug. Then plug it back in and out a few...

Re: New member needs mechanics help

Not sure on brand, but yes you should replace both. They wear out over time and affect the fuel/air mixture. You could be just on the border of being too lean which would cause that miss. One...

Next question which I probably know the answer to. How long has the O2 sensor been in there? No one ever changes them until it is too late

Re: New member needs mechanics help

We had a similar problem with a TJ 4.0. It didn't really affect the drivability, but did throw a CEL. Put a tank of premium gas in it and got rid of the problem as long as we ran it. Passed...

Re: New member needs mechanics help

I agree. Since you have replaced the injectors, it is in that circuit. One other thing, there is a product called OxGuard that really improves the conductivity of all the plug connections. Use it...
