Actually, I like the stove the best :D
You might want to check into boomerang shackles. They have a bend in them that will help clear the unibody
Very nice. Looking forward to the day I have one of those too
Very nice. Roof top tent is on my list of things to want
I like that stove set up. Going to do the same type of thing one of these days
That is very good work
That turned out nice
Cute little clevis you have there. :D I have some I use on engine hoist chains. Real handy
Thanks, keep them coming
Very nice, but we need more pics of this event :bacondance:
Very nice. Airing down makes so much difference in off road capability
Yes, after you find true TDC
CPS needs no adjustment. Just bolt it on. The flywheel can only be in one position
With the head on, rotate the engine with your finger over #1 spark plug hole. when it goes whoosh, find TDC on the crank pulley and that is true TDC
I use either assembly grease or pure power punch. The Power Punch is the better of the two
I just thought of something. The cam is lubricated by oil being slung out of the hole on the top of the connecting rod. If a rod is in backwards, that part of the cam might not get enough...
They are handy
I kinda wonder about some of these 4.0 cams. Mudderoy did just about the same thing on a new cam and lifters. They didn't even give him lifters that were all the same height. . go figure
Well, so much for that theory. It is getting hard to find oil for flat tappet engines nowadays. I use Valvoline Racing oil which has the highest mineral content of any of the off the shelf oils
What kind of engine oil were you using?
