I have a 91' XJ that is used off0road exclusively,,,,will removing the Catalytic Convertor hurt the engine in any way??

I live in a fairly warm climate ,NM,and I would like to monitor how warm the engine is getting.The lil light coming on and telling me I'm ready to melt a piston while 40 mi . out in the desert isn't...

I would like to install a mechanical temp gauge on my 4.0 XJ.Where or how to plug it into cooling system??

I use the Drill Doctor on bits larger than 1/4",,,,others[smaller] I just discard
