Weird...it was the fuel pump wire shorting to ground and popping the fuse. Strange.

Will a bad crank sensor make the gauges not work?

It cranks and cranks, but won't start. Don't see how a bad NSS would make the gauges act weird and the engine stall. The CEL did NOT come on at any point.

Weird...on the hiway, and it just stalled. All the gauges stayed where they were (showing 50mph & ~1700rpm), now show.nothing with the key on. Err...help?

Got an oil analysis back from Blackstone Labs on the Defy...I'm sold. Direct quote: "Some of the best wear numbers we have ever seen from a Jeep 4 litre."

I know it's a long shot...but worth a shot. Jeep is a 1997 XJ, need a 2" receiver that (unlike my current hitch) is not a mass of corrosion.

It's no lower than the stock airbox...I do not do water crossings & do not live in a flood-prone area. (If there's any chance of a water crossing, I'll take my F350 or my wife's K-5 Blazer.) ...

Heard from several people they are worth power and mileage. (I'm inclined to believe it, the stock setup looks awful.) Anyone here running one...if so: how do you like it?
