I recently drove from Indy to Milwaukee in the Jeep. In third doing a GPS indicated 62 mph, and spinning right at 2500 rpm I got 16 mpg. I know it will do better in OD, but it lugs the engine too...
If I stay at 65mph or under I can get right at 20 mpg. Around town I get about 15 mpg.
I'm old, so I rarely drive over 60 anyway. But I DO turn off my turn signals though!:thumbsup:
