Um yeah that is and interesting thing. I have not seen that either. The HP 30 in mine is an ABS axle and does not have that.

Bummer Dana that sucks. I questioned that when I put the lunchbox in my 44 and actually the directions for the locker said to used blue locktite so I did and so far no issues...
