Well if you remember the push to talk phones from Sprint it's like that but you can have a bunch of people on the channel. So it's a walkie talkie with the range of the Internet.

During my Skywarn interview for an upcoming podcast one of the guests told me about "Zello" It's an app that you can install on your smartphone. It turns your $500 phone into a $50 walkie talkie!...
