    Re: Project Cheap XJ

Sad to see it go. I enjoyed your build, all the way from the beginning at $200. But I know you'll love that new XJ!

Normally I'd say... Nah, man! Stick it out, you've put so much work in it! But that 01 is a real looker! And to know it's been taken care of is piece or mind that's hard to find.

Nice work! It's really one of those excellent mods for us guys with rusty undercarriages! Not easy, but worth it!

Lol, I'm in the same boat. Keeping an eye out for a decently priced dana 30 locker. Everybody wants near new prices for used.

Lol, I'm the same way Ryan. I think the max I've taken is 2800 in 5 hours at a massive car show. Awesome pics, looking forward to scouring the albums!

Looks like fun for sure! Just something about that red dirt that looks good on a xj.

Nice terrain! I need to get out of this area! Most of what we have is mud... unless you want to drive a couple hours away.

Sounds like you seek what we have! Whole forecast is in 70s or upper 60s for highs. On the flip side though, I want cold and snow!

Nice, on both. I've thought fondly of the looks on the 97-04 f150 crew! And I can attest to the 6.0l chevys. Had two so far, first (07 3500) was traded at 316k and this one ('10 3500) has 278k and...

That came out real sweet! Nice texture on that coating too. Making me want to get to building a bumper... if I EVER get done with this rocker project!

Looks like a good deal. I searched for a deal like that for months and finally had to buy new. Checked them good though. I looked at some used 33 duratracs and found a sidewall puncture. Seems to be...

Yeah, I'd say it's been about 10 years since the km was made. Still got them on my mom's zj and we got those about 14 years ago, but it's not driven.

One of mine was bent too. You can get them at the hardware store. Can't remember if it was HD or lowes but either should have them. They're known as lynch pins.
