    Re: Current draw idling XJ

Sounds like a 136amp Grand Cherokee alternator should be on your list of things to do.

Re: What did you do to your Jeep today?

Set up and played ham radio games.
It's not pretty but it worked.

Another year... we were at the same place as last year, McGee Creek Res but this year the water was almost up to the camp pad so we were lacking much of the room we had last year.

Re: What did you do to your Jeep today?

H$ = H4 when you hold down the SHIFT key for too long. :p

As Steve said your current headlight is a housing and bulb in one, H4 bulbs are removable from the rear of the housings so you will need...

    Re: Tires

Metric tire sizes seem to be maybe a bit more accurate than the SAE sizes.
A 31x10.5x15 tire is rarely 31" sometimes measuring as small as 29.5", however a 245/75/16 tire or at least the ones I have...

Re: What did you do to your Jeep today?

If nothing else hit Raffi up and see if he knows, he seems to be a pretty responsive guy.
  14. Re: Wheeling and Camping around the Clayton an K Trail OK/AR

I noticed that and their $8 a year property tax. I will split it with you but you have to pay half the taxes. :p

That would be a cute little house if it was cleaned up.
  15. Re: Wheeling and Camping around the Clayton an K Trail OK/AR

The land owners live in Nevada, Texas. Maybe they don't know it's being used as a camp, maybe they don't care. Hit them up next time you head to Dallas...... or maybe not, could ruin it for everyone...
  16. Re: Wheeling and Camping around the Clayton an K Trail OK/AR

Great pics. Had some friends run into some booby traps on the west end of the K-trail a few years back. I am not sure where the Clayton trail connects but the word is the K-trail is closed basically...

Re: What did you do to your Jeep today?

Decided it would be easier to replace the exhaust manifold/header with the head completely off.

    Re: low profile roof rack

I built my own cross bars with gutter mounts to haul my bike, but that is because my 93 didn't have a factory roof rack.

Re: Coil Spring Spacers, yes or no?

I prefer to have the rear a tad higher than the front that way I can put people or gear in the back and not drag ass or as much, but I guess if you don't use your Jeep like that then sitting level is...
