bumpstops (when done right) stop your shocks from bottoming out or extending all the way. Which both are very bad on them. Now i noticed you posted up in the jeepspeed section. If you plan on airing...
yeah i am sure for the style wheeling you do you can. I have heard of people just putting steel spacers in between the frame and the bump it self.
And some people have thought you can soften up...
