Really? I always thought bigger lifts required longer drive shafts (eventually).
Plus with a 5" lift and the RC drop brackets .... my axle is pretty much a vertical 5" drop.
Without the drop...

I believe I've seen that the front drive line on a 95-96 Grand Cherokee with V8 is a couple inches longer than the stock 91-95 xj.
