exactly 38" floor to tire, front and rear both. The beauty of coilovers.
My YJ was rear biased like yours when I ran a 4 link rear and SOA front. It made for some interesting rides.

Adjusted the coilovers and took some poser shots today.

Not sure why that would be.
It's stock for now but hydro assist is in the works. 35" tires are about the limit for standard steering if you play in the rocks at all.
Hope so, havent had it out yet. Still need a spare, mount fire ext/cb before my first run next month.
Then winch, tire carrier, paint, steering fix, etc.
No, I don't. May not be what you need though, my rig has 1/4" plating all around the unibody rails, bumper to bumper. lot of weight.
K, came off as odd. No worries.
They are Fox 12" travel single coil.
Not sure what you mean by small? The bent one is due to a hard landing link + rock + weight of rig = bent link. No binding that I can see, geometry looks good.
I've driven with a welded front on...
Not a fan of shocks hanging below the axle, otherwise very nice.
Betcha that's flexy!
I was wondering. It doesn't get much better than a double triangulated 4 link on Fox coilovers, lol.

Eewww? What's that supposed to mean?

Eh, that 97 was a POS, motor noise, rode like crap.
Ended up with a ZR2 for a DD and I wanted something a little off the deep end
So I replaced it with this.....

What a great build thread, nicely done.
Picked this up yesterday in Howell, MI. It's an 89 (fu$#g Renix) Full width Ford D44 axles front and rear, welded carriers, 4.56 gears and rear disc brake conversion. Steering is kinda janky but...
Can't say I've ever seen Exploder wheels on an XJ.
Nice base to work from, a manual 2 dr would make a nice wheeler.
It was a rough job, but I pulled out the CC waved it at this place, lol

None of the XJ yet, but here's one of the YJ. Couldn't stuff the rear all the way due to bs of the street wheels. Flex should be much better with the other set.

Fixed your links.
On th XJ everyone seems to like the diamond plate.

on the YJ of course the 4 link rocks but I really dig my T-case shifter

Keep in mind about the OX's w/cable, remember how much that same type of cable was constantly out of adjustment on your pedal bikes when you were a kid? They use the same setup.
As far as my...

Just realized I didn't answer this. Yes, now I do but it wasn't always. It took a regear, playing with tire sizes, free flow exhaust, 4.0L throttle body and port matched intake, and 19lb Ford...
I'm thinking short bus because they're easier to drive/park, 1 ton chassis and drivetrain so parts are easy to find, and on the whole cheaper to maintain. It will also be a smallish RV that can be...
