Oh I definitely considered it. Problem is all the trails around here are kinda tight, I think it would spend more time being tied down than it would sticking up acting like an antenna.

I think the problem is that for it to look even I would have to cut into the cowl to mount it. As it is, it is a couple inches forward of the factory antenna on the opposite side. Oh well, not too...

Would this be a good place to mount my CB antenna? I was originally going to mount it on the opposite side but the GF says this looks better. Would the factory radio antenna interfere?
