I wonder if your cam messed up some lifters. I checked with Matt and he said all my lifter shims were the same width.

I'm trying to remember, seems Matt and I went through some discussions with Crane cam about their lifters and noise. Something like in a daily driver it might drive you nuts but if you're screaming...
