If you are only going with 2" of lift you shouldn't need a transfer case drop. If you were gonna go 3" or bigger than they suggest to do a transfer case drop or a SYE.

If rear axle has rubber plug on it check diff. oil to see if its low, empty...etc. Rust above the windshield...
