    Any codes?
    The temp sensor will tell the computer how rich or lean as compared to the engines temp. Richer when cold,leaner when warmed up. Also the OXY. sensors do a similar thing.

    It is definitly the trans solenoids. Change them out and it will be good as new.

    To get mine working right ,solenoid filter and gasket,NSS and TCU to clear codes. All told over 440 bucks in a 900 truck.

    After removing extraparts. A wire wheel on a 4 1/2 grinder will make it look decent. I like Rust Opeum heavy rust primer 11 bucks a quart. Then 2 coats of Rustopeum gloss black also 11 bucks a quart....
