By my caculations, the distance between the center of each subframe "horn" is 770mm = 77cm = 30.31496...

My front recovery brackets sandwich the subframe like a "U". But I wonder if I could do something like this and hang it from a bracket.

You're probably right. But damn it'd look cool.

If the back part of the bracket could be bolted to the cross member with some stiffening inside, it may work.
