    My front recovery brackets sandwich the subframe like a "U". But I wonder if I could do something like this and hang it from a bracket.

    Based on my research, that one came out of a crown vic (1998 -2003 most likely) police cruiser. I wonder if I could come off my front recovery brackets and hang it.

    You're probably right. But damn it'd look cool.

    If the back part of the bracket could be bolted to the cross member with some stiffening inside, it may work.
