Must be something about the CV driveshafts that don't like angles. I also read(Haynes manual I think) that the CV driveshafts must be a certain length or they will destroy themselves. Glad neither...
Some ZJs came with CV front driveshafts. You must change the front driveshaft and yoke. I don't know of any other reason they say it won't work since everything else is the same.
