Had the same issue with my 90 tried everything to fix except the one thing that did not cost me any money i tightened my intake bolts fixed it been running great for the last 2 years

I have a 90 as my daily runner and i have 2 91 XJ's for parts can i swap the brake booster in the 91 to my 90 to get rid of the Bendix garbage and if so do i loose my abs i am also doing the Rad...
