Question on the shackles I have on my Jeep...Will these look ridiculous if I use them with my lift? Does anyone have any recommendations on where I can find some shorter shackles locally?

Yes, I would wait to put on the new tires till after I got the lift :) Just wondering if I should wait to buy the lift when I can also buy the tires at the same time. But as Tony said, it won't look...

I like the look of the curved black leaf springs over the look of my flat rusty colored leaf springs I've got now... Plus I'll be getting new shocks and stuff, too. Thanks for the info, though! :D

I think I'm good with just a 4" lift...As I mentioned before where it sits right now it is a bit awkward and I'm pulling myself up. I'm only 5'5" and don't want to have to get a running start to jump...

Mine does, too. It has shackles...I will probably remove those when I install the lift... It looks funny to me but then again I'm a noobie when it comes to this stuff!
