Cree or epistar chips ?
Hi. First off, ya NEVER EVER call a Jeep a car ! :D :D :D
Yeah, ta could get out with washers as a stop gap. Have you tried the local breakers for a set ?
I'm sure some of the U.S. guys will...

Great minds ! Just last night I'd been thinking about the space, or lack of, and had a half plan of using a hole saw to cut out the back of the bucket if needed. :)
Good to know it'll actually...
Something to aim for. This is a friends MGB, he spent around two years on the refurb, a lot of new pannels/floors/paint and shinny new loom.

Our 4x4 response group use these in PMR flavour. We're only licensed to 5w for the handheld sets, or 25w for vehicle sets. The handhelds are really good bits of kit, and cheap to buy. :)
Wow ! Really. That's a bummer. That said, although there's no restriction on bars in the UK, the halo type lights you guys can run are totally illegal over here, white only for forward facing lights.
Vice grips can also be used for clamping small, sensitive parts of hands/fingers to missalanious metal parts !
How about a small bar as a stop gap? A 10 or 20" bar would give a huge difference.
Basic rule, if it DOSE'NT say Cree, stay away. If I've posted a link for LEDs, I've bought it, or something exactly the same. The Cree H4s in the link above are what you want, as said, I have them on...
Just catching up, not sure how I missed this reply !
Anyhoo, these are the latest in the market, NO FANS. Just heat sinks. 2.2A draw, so no need for updated harness. And yes, ice a set on order.

Do it right, do it once. Save your money and wait until you can get H4 housings and H4 LEDs. Check the 'LED headlight upgrade' thread in strange and wonderful tech area. The info and vids are there....
This is from birtydastards Jeeo forum in the UK. Could be a useful reference. :)
Mods, please feel free to move this to a more appropriate area.
I read in Autocar the other day that the...
Just been reading the blurb, it delivers 200A for starting, with a 400A peak dump for 3 seconds.
My better half tracked that one down for Xmas last year. :) there's some nice ones with a modded jku on eBay just now.
I did suspect the NOCOs would be a lot cheaper in the US.
Oops ! Forgot that bit. :rolleye0012: £59 or around $90 NOCOs in the UK are around 3 times the price.
as my budget wouldn't stretch to a NOCO I decided to have a hunt for similar items. The search came up with these.. They can be used as backup charging for you phone or tablet, have a useful LED...
Wiper arms like the ones in the OP are standard fitment on ALL UK vehicles, and have been for as far back as I can remember. Odd how something so basic changes depending on the country.
Well worth giving the 'dead battery' story a go, I did, and won an Amazon $25 voucher !
I'd be up for the most users online, as long as it's not God oclock in the morning UK time. :D
I think I've enough now. 20" double row, 30" single & a 40" single. All Cree bars, combo beam. 450w 51,500 Lm.
Before...
This is a story of one of those times when you place a switch just where it's needed, and it's also, THE worst place to put a switch.
It all started with the quest for more light. After much...
Have a Safari snorkel on mine for the past 3 years, and have had an 'extreme conditions' top fitted for a year. As said, no difference at all in MPG, the new top does howl like an induction kit under...
I bought a pair of brand new +3" RC coils for mine recently, with the winch and bumper/brush gaurd hangin off the front, I actually lost 1.5" of lift after fitting them. I wasn't impressed with the...
I'm a member of the local 4x4 Response group, they suply logistic support to medical staff/local council/search&rescue and police in adverse weather. I was the first to go with LED light bars,...
