For me, it is all about valving. The standard Fox 2.0 is valved way too stiff

I would go with the first option. Love 44s. The aftermarket support is just great for them
That is even better. But don't be like me, make it a short one. Been on too many where I get finished at 3AM and take off on a long one. Did that a year ago on my three link and track bar. Good...
I am not discounting your idea. But I think even with what you are doing, a plate is called for. The two together would be awesome
OK But I use the plate in my winch bumper. I have trashed the track bar mounts on both ends, but the steering box area is just peachy
