  1. Re: P0700 and P0740 trouble codes on 1998 Jeep Cherokee

So I had a 0700 and 0740 code pop up yesterday, the jeep is driving fine with the exception of the CEL being on. Rescanned today and only had the 0700 code. I replaced the solenoids 4 years ago with...

    Re: Wheel offset

1.5" like 4.3 said, torque them and you should be set. Bump stops should help them from over stuffing when you start making the suspension flex.

Looks great, i really wish i had gone with the flat fenders on mine, but the ones i went with are more budget friendly.

Re: JKS disconnect pop my tire!

Even with the lift and backspacing I've had to install limiting straps on two of my buddies Jk's due to how flexy the front end gets. Just take your time and flex out the front end with some jacks or...

Re: JKS disconnect pop my tire!

With the stock wheels you shouldn't have an issue clearing the swaybar as long as it is tucked nicely out of the way once you disconnect them. A set of zip ties or bungie cords should help keep them...

    Re: Dead eye's slow build

I wanted to go so bad , but my son was doing a baseball tournament that weekend. I haven't had a free weekend to take the Jeep out since September.

    Re: CB Myths

Just because its designed for your application doesn't make it plug and play. Sometimes surface or bracket prep is required. Although the metal whip antennas are good you can achieve good SWR numbers...

    Re: CB Myths

RIP James Best. I have my antenna mounted between the fender and hood and the 9' of cable is just right as far as length and do great when transmitting and receiving.

The two other myths or issues...

Re: Nine Days In Mining Country

Sucks about the tie rod. Reminds me of the trails I ran on the quads in West Virginia a few years back. Wish I had the Jeep up there then but it was full of great sites and views just like your trip.

Re: Rear Bump Stop Spring Plates

Yeah I'm looking to build the ones that replace the spring plate. I was actually thinking off adding 1/4" plate above the spring plate. I saw that there was a company that made them out of 1/4" plate...

    Rear Bump Stop Spring Plates

I'm looking to fab up some replacement leaf spring plates/bump stops for the rear and I was doing some research and found that most places make them out of 3/8 steel rather than 1/4". I saw where one...

I actually go night wheeling here in Florida several times a year, sometimes due to the heat of summer and many of our trails don't shut down at night. If we are in a larger group of rigs usually...

To me regardless of the brand the 50" lightbars are pointless and only really needed by the true offroad rigs. I think it all comes down to what you are using your lights for, how often you use them...

I've seen that style before and they aren't bad for the price. I get a kick out of the guys that have their knock off light bars in the 6-24" and my Duallys are just as bright if not brighter. I...
