My thought was since the lowers are not adjustable, would I land up shifting the axle forward if I sat lower then the recommended height?
Thanks for the reply!

I've been working on narrowing down the issue;
I replaced the CPS with a NAPA one since I couldn't get a good one from Autzone. I replaced the fuel pump/fileter/strainer after I checked all the...
Thanks for all the quick replies! I tested the original CPS by performing the ohm test while it was cold, then running the engine until it died and quickly disconnecting the CPS and testing again....
I didn't think the pre-96 Xjs has a crank position sensor? But I can look into it.
Happy Thanksgiving :D
This past week, I was driving I-70 eastbound from Grand Junction to Denver. Going up a large hill approaching the Eisenhower tunnel my Xj began to jump 4-5 times. At first I...
I run the Brown Dog mounts and brackets as well. At about 220k I hit a pothole in an intersection and sheared off all 3 of the bolts on the passenger side of the block. I only managed to get 2 of the...
I went and picked up the new axle on Thursday, and spend Thursday and Friday evening swapping it in. Didn't take any pictures since it' been covered several times on various forums. Everything is...

For the last couple days, I've noticed that when turning or driving at slow speeds I hear a "popping" noise from the rear axle. This evening I jacked the rear up and spun the wheels hoping to find...
In my '95 I've had the same problem from time to time; I'll get in, start the car and the blinkers will not work for whatever reason. I never figured out the cause of it, but usually if I move the...

I recently installed a set of the Brown Dog MMs along with the header brackets so I wont be needing the stock brackets. The rubber mounts are less than 2 months old (replaced them right before I...
I had to replace my head and head gasket about 2 years ago due to a crack from overheating
Anyhow, if I am remembering correctly, you will want to remove the fuel rail and move the wiring...
Thanks again for the responses!
The water was leaking on the sides of the bell housing so I don't believe it's from the freeze plug you've mentioned. I tighten the 4 hoses going to and from the...
I checked the freeze plug on the back and its clean; no white marks or water. looking up from underneath it looks like it is spraying onto the side off the engine and bellhousing from somewhere....
Hi all, for many years my XJ has had a small coolant leak that drips off the bottom of the bell housing. Until now, this didn't really both me since it was only a few drips every now and then! Now,...
I'm in the middle of replacing the factory trim decals and painting the fenders all with bedliner, about half way there and it looks good so far! Or at least it looks better than the peeling old...
Should I get some water wings to go with that?
