I used a wood burning tool to heat up the existing solder and just spread it around. Worked like a charm... thanks for the info and write up.

try pushing and pulling the dash.... i noticed mine does it when turning, like when the frame flexes a little. Mine has a loud pop sometimes.

I have a brake controller I pulled off an 08 Trailblazer and am looking to install it on a 2000 XJ Sport. Is there a write up that shows the wiring for the brake controller? Any help is appreciated.
