    They were fine. No bad spots, no shiney spots and all teeth were sharp. I'm gonna run it for a couple of weeks and then drain, check and refill with fresh gear oil. I think I will go with 80w-140...

    Swapped out the gears this morning. Took about 2 hrs start to cleanup. Waiting for the perma gasket to set up before I refill and test. A few pics of the old gears

    Yea it will be easier and cheaper to swap. To rebuild this one will run me about 400. I can get one for 175 at the pick and pay.
