Wayne, the Dick Cepek tires are load range E. Very stiff sidewall. The tire companies are making stiffer and stiffer side walls nowadays to stand up to rocks. A far cry from the 2 ply side walls of the 70s My opinion is that they are too stiff for a 3500# rig. Can you get Pit Bulls in that part of the world?

 I am convinced softer tires work better in mud than hard stiff ones. I have some 2 ply tires on my Sammy that don't look like much, but were kick ass in everything except sharp rocks.

well i know these boys work well in mud...great in the snow and rain as well on the black top.....two more cylinders should have em spiting mud everywhere.......will throw the dicks on the xj and drop the price a bit.....

I like those Mud Country's... I have been looking at picking up a set of them when it comes time to replace the Baja Claws that are currently on my XJ.. I had a set of Pro Comp Xtreme Mud Terrains and loved those tires, but I ended up having one of them split a belt in the center of the tire, but I put that on the previous owner of the tires, not Pro Comp, if I could find a good enough deal on a new set of those tires I would pick them up over the Dick Cepek tires..

I have used the Mud Country's in the past and really liked them. I air down to 6-8 psi when crawling on the rocks.... they would take me anywhere!

When I switched wheels, I bought the DC Crushers and so far I like them just as well.

My wife's DD XJ has DC Fun Country tires on it with 30k plus miles and still around half tread.
