I know this is an XJ forum, but I just posted pics of the XJ and thought maybe one or two of you guys might like to see the KJ too.

This V8 swap is a project still in the works. I expect to have it all ready for wheelin by the middle of the summer again.

Cool build. Why did you go with a manual valve body?

Nice rig. I really like that front tube fender. Have you got plans for the rear?

Awesome KJ you got going here.. I actually don't mind the KJ's... just wish they had come with solid front axles instead of IFS.. I think they would have sold even more of them if they had..

Vroooooooom, CHIRP, Vroooooom, CHIRP, Vrooooooom!!!!!!:D

cantab27, Ya, most of these pics were taken at an off road park called The Badlands in Indiana, USA. A good place to spend a day or two of wheelin'

4.3LXJ, The rears are in the works, well come springtime anyway. I just had to move out of my house of 21 years (due to the economy and the loss of a job of 15 years) and am now renting again and the new place doesn't have a garage, so most of the work has ceased for the winter.

Bluedragon, you may be surprised where I and some of my KJ buddies have had our IFS Liberties!!:D They are actually pretty darn capable wheelers!!

Great Libby, way to think outside the box. I'm pretty sure I've never seen a V8 Kj before. Do you have any plans to put a straight axle under the front?

Oh this I don't doubt.. I got to see a few of them wheeling, granted they were Diesels when I was stationed in Germany.. but I would just prefer to have the SFA.. but I think if I had the money I wouldn't mind having one lifted and built a bit.. they are pretty nice to drive..
