It can be done but may have severely restricted airflow.

The way you are trying to post the pictures actually makes more sense then the way vBulletin "wants" you to do it.

You are trying to upload pictures to xjtalk.com and then put a link to them in the post. This works fine for a few pictures, but then you hit the size limit and cannot upload any more pictures to the board. This is because we would need a nearly unlimited amount of disk space to support EVERYONE doing this.

The way we get around it is you upload your pictures to photobucket.com, or one of the many other free sites and then post the link to the picture here.

Here is a brief document we wrote up describing it. Let me know if you need more information, as we really love seeing the pictures around here! :D

my cherokees have a homemade air intake on them. this is far cheaper than the store bought ones. I used the K&N RB0910 universal filter on my setup.this filter cost around$30.00. I get scrap 3"od thin wall stainless pipe from my local recycling center. you need to get a piece longer than what you actually need. this is because it needs to be bent and the muffler shop man needs a little extra pipe to work with. after he gets it bent for you, cutoff the excess. The stock box really is not usefullbecause the new filter goes there. if you are like me, you then make your own heat shield. i even made a setup for my 97 dodge carivan. it has the same size intake.3 inch. the website is autopartswarehouse.com the telephone #is 1-800-913-6119. the part #isK33rb0910 mfg# is rb0910. latest cost $34.28. they had free shipping over $50.00 so I bought two. will try and post pics.
