I'm kinda freakin out about this National Defense Authorization Act. I'm starting to read into it more and more. But I keep coming up with all this crazy shit that sounds alot like Soviet Union. I was talking to my friend today. She's from Russia and lived through those crazy times.
Anyone got level headed words about this topic? Provide links to websites you've read. Anything.

The NDAA has been in effect since 2002, thank you Dead Laden for creating another knee jerk reaction by congressmen and senators that have been in office far far to long. The only real thing to be concerned about (if you enter into activities that will draw the interest of; The FBI, CIA, NSA, and all the other "Homeland Security" agencies created after 9/11/2001) is that they can detain you, the american citizen or permanent resident, with out worry about when they have to bring you to trial, hold you in a military prison, and not have to allow the phone call mentioned in every other law about holding people prisoner. Most all the other stuff in the new bill has been in effect since the enactment of the first bill passed.
