As some of you know my ears don't work too well. I was feeling all this rumbling in the apartment and went outside to see :wtf: was going on. The damn plane took off less than a mile from here and it was so loud that it broke my hearing aid. :hmmmm2:
I dunno if the sound was recorded on that video.

Fun to watch though.....

mudd the sound is there for damn sure. I can see why it broke your aids. Maybe they can be repaired.

Yeah they can fix it and luckily it's under warranty. But geez........LOUD!

Any sound when you are used to silence is very loud I would imagine.

lol i live by BWI airport, I havent noticed airplanes in years. when friends and family come to visit, and are like "look at the plane" is the only time i notice anymore

Yeah I live right next to the small chippewa airport. I think they are practicing for the annual airshow. My buddy lives even closer. You can sit in his yard and see the runway.

It would be neat to see the planes, but I think it would get old very fast.

I guess like everything else, you would get used to it. Here in the middle of nowhere, we have Elk and they migrate right past the house, during the rut they have and extremely loud bugle and used to keep me up at nights, but now I don't even notice that they are out there while everyone else thinks it's the neatest sound.
