I know most people on this forum probably arent interested in it. But i am and it would be cool to get others interested in it as well. I know alot of NAXJA guys that are into it that i could invite over here as well.

And like they say a go fast rig can crawl better than a crawler can go fast.

And mudderroy if you are interested in it i can :cop: it for ya.

thanks for taking it into consideration.:D:)

I love jeepspeed. it's amazing what they do to the suspension to absorb that kind of abuse. Fascinating stuff!

Well I'd need to learn some more about it, but if I want to go fast I just get on the street. Peg the speedo past 100.

it really doesnt cost what you guys think it does to get into the begginning classes. Not that a guy like me from michigan has the money to get a jeep to cali. But i still live only a hour from the dunes.

Some CA DB's, good coils and leaves, and some good shocks and you'd be amazed as to how fast your jeep can take rough roads/ and get some air under its feer

that doesnt test your suspension at all. And i cant say my jeep has ever came off the ground on the road. It has in the sand though :D

I'm sorry man but that is SAD! :rotfl2: Jeep's belong in the dirt...come on, it's time to get yours dirty. I haven't seen a picture of it dirty yet. I think you should ban yourself until that happens. All in favor???

I've seen and also ridden in jeeps that were airborne. OMFG does it get your adrenaline pumping. When I launched my TJ it felt like I was in the air for minutes and landing was nice and soft. It was the complete opposite in my friend's xj (you've prob seen the pix). I was in the backseat and all i remember is seeing the guy in the front seat fly up and get smashed into the ceiling and I remember feeling a spare tire in the back hit my head. You can launch them 2 or 3 feet with little ill effects but once you go up higher than that you will need alot of reinforcements, especially the xj's. My friend landed two 6 ft jumps and his xj was totaled. All four tires were slanted inwards cuz of the bent axles, the roof caved up, fender was smashed upwards.....but it he drove it 3 hours home. :D Fun stuff and I was hooked to jeepspeed since then.

This is a SAD excuse for dirty, and it's been so dry around here for the last couple of months...

I love getting out in the mud, but I've only done it a few times in the Jeep, most of it was in my truck years and years ago....

What happened to the truck? And what's on the other side of it? Seems like a toyota or something.

I've heard that if you pee in a dried up puddle you will get instant mud. That's if you are desperate enough and NEED mud bad....or really have to pee.

My first child was on the way and I felt I needed something lower to the ground. The vehicle behind mine is a full sized 1982(?) long wheel base chevy pickup.

That was my roomates truck. Not much after this he bought a 1985 short wheel base chevy, just like mine, 4x4, but red. He put the same wheels and tires on his. It was amazing seeing them both parked in the driveway of the house we were renting.

That is what I was concerned about, but if it is a name that mulitple people use I think it should be fine.

Ok it's there. I just called the section "Working Title" for now. Tell me what the title should be. You may want more than one section under the Jeepspeed header, that's fine just let me know. PM it to me please.
