OK So this time, I am tempting that thing in style with a trailer rather than a just plain tent.... getting old so the heat will be much appreciated ;)

Yesterday I have brought the trailer up the mountains to secure a spot... I am a bit nervous leaving it there but the plan is to bring trailer in, Come up with the jeep Thursday, scout until Saturday and hopefully be lucky ;)....

Wife and kids might join on Saturday night if she decide that she is going to drive the truck up the trail...

Here are some of the teaser pictures.... the scenery at this time of the year is absolutely beautiful.... the camera doesn;t give justice to Mother Nature colors...

And now you guys can understand why the yellow jeep is the perfect camo color for these parts lol...

That is some beautiful country for sure!! Must be a fun trail to follow to get up there... I like the nice mud strips thrown up the front of the trailer!! LOL.. Views like that are the reason I wish I was stationed out mid west area... would be some beautiful wheeling!!

Awesome area to hunt Steph. I see four draws I'd be checking very well in those pics. I've still gotta get a new bow for this season, we get to fill 6 tags this year if you hop to different zones to hunt. My first will probably come from the back yard area (15 acres of hardwoods and a creek).

Yeah here in Utah, Tag is only for 1 buck... (and I mean 1 buck, not 1$)

This area is great it is all national forest mostly but it is also full of people during opening and since the weather is supposed to be nice.... there will be plenty of people.... not cool.

That is why I will stay up there more ;) maybe get lucky this year... Ihave already seen 2 mooses nearby...

yeah it had rained before.... and pulling a #6000 trailer up a muddy slippery trail was fun.... lol especially that truck came with BFG A/T brand new... picks up a lot of crap and is much happy to release said crap everwhere lol///

(can;t wait to get the jeep up there, but there will be no mudding... lol it is National Forest and the trail needs some respect if we want them to keep it open.... I usually avoid the mud puddles and stuff on National forest roads....anyway)

If you lived in Eastern WA state where we were, all you had to do is follow my wife around. She nailed three of them with her car. First one was a really nice five point.

I don't have to hunt , I just check the bar ditch out front of the house and can usually find one this time of year. Seems the deer are smart here, they know when the season opens and come into town limits where ya cant legally shoot'em. Don't leave till after the rut. Got some nice big ones this year!!!

Reminds me of when Orange Decker, a fellow firefighter and certified great white hunter took his new girlfriend hunting. Wouldn't shoot the deer, but did manage to bag the pickup.:D
