View Full Version : how do you stay cool in the summer?

Right now i have swamp cooler and the motor is a two speed but the high doesn't work so all i have is low. Its terrible :mad0090:. Just want to know how other jeepers keep there cool.

I just turn on the A/C. 38 degrees baby!

lol that's fine but put a carbon monoxide detector in there with you.

I thought you were talking about staying cool in the Jeep.

We spent $3k on a new A/C unit last year. At 102 hear yesterday we're looking at 82 in the house. Staying cool is relative.

I have a swamp cooler and a stand alone AC unit, but I never turn them on, by the time I get back inside the house in the evenings there is no need to turn them on. Otherwise I go swimming while fishing to stay cool.

97 degrees outside today and I never even broke a sweat.

If there was water then it wouldn't be a desert would it? Where are you that it is so unbearable. Thought you were in ElPaso and there is no humidity there. I lived there a couple years while on a long contract and never thought that it was so awful hot. I was used to similar temps but 80+% humidity. Much hotter feeling.

I live in southern California. Its just crappy when it feels better outside then inside.

I my "computer room" the current temp is 80.3 and 36% humitiy, feels ok. Weatherbug says it is 79 degrees in Katy right now.
