That is a great sign. Is it permanent and lit at night?

I think so. The sign is on a rise in front of the plants where the Wranglers are assembled, and they make the Liberty & Nitro. It faces I-75 and usually there are some of Jeep's newest models up there.

In the summer of 2010, I was lucky enough to get to tour the Wrangler Assembly Plant in Toledo. The first two pics are from the end of the assembly line where they drive the Jeeps off. Last one is the group in front of the employee entrance.

That would definately be a fun/interesting experience... Just to see an assebly line with all of the compnents and machines that go into it would be awesome!

It wasn't as awesome as you'd think. They have a supplier on site that assembles the chassis's and the axle's, and then delivers them with the drivetrain installed. Ironically, this supplier is a subsidiary of Kia.

They literally drop the tubs on the frames, hang the front sheet metal, and install the interior.
