Leon

in Photobucket preferences you have an option for screen size. Set it at 15"

Nice rain forest man. Looks a lot like western Oregon and Washington here. Except we don't have tree ferns here.

Hi Steve, I'm probably giving a bit of a faulse impression here, The north does tend to be a bit wetter as we have alot of forrest areas, but the wetest place is actualy the west coast of the South Island. Where Wayne is from on the east coast is alot more rocky and lots of rivers as I'm sure he has shown. Where I live is very wet and Lots of forest hence all mud driving for us, I would love to get down and do some snow and river work in the south. Cheers Leon

What is your average yearly rainfall? Just wanting to compare it to our own temperate rain forest on the west coast. In our hill area where Payless 4X4 lives, it gets about 60 inches I think. 152 cm

You guys have no idea what rain is, Try over 800" in Westland Sth Island and around 600" in the Taranaki area (where I live) we can get 60" in a couple of weeks.

Well, that is rain. The wettest place in OR is Valsetz, with about 2-300 inches

Leonmac

Sorry I told a lie, its 3000mm on the west coast (average) and 800" at Franz Joseph Glacier. and 600" at West Egmont National Park in Taranaki, NZs average rain fall is from 600mm to 1600mm.
