Tires rubbed a bit, in fenders and on the foot rails..so needed a little trimming..and rail removal...to stay on budget went with TJ flares and a little trimming

Nice find and finish. How do you like the Kevlars in snow?

Havent tried the Kevlars yet in the snow, the Old MT's I had were big wide skates..lol..mixed reviews from what I have read, will probably drop a few lbs and run them a little low but we will see.

OK, thanks. I am torn between Kevlars and KM2s. Both good tires. Still trying to get as much feedback on both as possible.

Nice vid. Were you running the Kevlars there. They seem to throw lots of mud. And I really dig that Power Wagon at the starting line.

Oops, my bad. I have to read the fine print at the bottom.:D

Yup was the MT/R Kevlars, if you check out my other videos I didnt quite make it all the way but the 1st run in the 6 Cyl I had all my tools, spare axles, Wheel Bearing etc etc in the jeep overall probably a good 350lbs of weight in the rear and I was the first one through the hole after the backhoe dug it out, and the Open Class runs well needless to day I ran out of Bottom, most of the open Buggies were running 44"plus tires so my little 35's faired out quite well and they had re-dug the hole. All and all I am happy with the way they perform, not everyday you will throw yourself in 250ft of slop. Also I am still at 355 Gears, I am sure with more gearing and more wheel spin they may have had a little more momentum and clearing ease

Looks like a nice XJ you got going now... I know how it is to be going through withdrawals and wanting to get back into another XJ!! Any further plans for this new one, or just going to run it as is for a bit??

Going to be patient as is, would like to maybe try the rear spring sliders, mixed reviews but i like to try different, no one around here has tried, and maybe a little more trimming to get 35's back in, next year though for the 35's, really going to go the patient route see what i like and dont, and go from there.
