Can anyone confirm that I can take bumpers that are on a 90 xj and bolt them up to my 99? I found a 90 that has front and rear rock bumpers, rock sliders, and tires that I would like to put on the one I have. I just need to make sure it will all fit. (not sure it matters but the 90 is 2 door and 99 is 4 door)
Thanks!

Aftermarket bumper manufacturers list only one part number for 84-01

There is no difference in the unibody thru-out the production years, although a 90 can lack 2 connection holes for mounting a front bumper on the passenger side, 89-90 was a transition year for left hand drives.

97-2001 unibodies have 2 additional gusset areas in the very rear of the unibody within the bumper mounting area. Most of us work around this, but if the mounting points of the bumper extend past the 4 mounting factory bumper mounting connections, you may need to address the mounting points.

In most cases, these 2 idiocracies wont play a role, but it's good to be aware of them if the bumpers are home brewed or older parts.
